Not In My City joins the Edmonton International Film Festival lineup

Look at that crew on the hilltop, dogs included. That’s the team behind Not In My City: The Paul Brandt Story, and their film is now part of the Edmonton International Film Festival.

LHI Productions announced the selection on August 10 and thanked the festival for giving the documentary a place on the big screen. On October 6 it confirmed that the film is in the Studio A 1.0 package. The team says it’s honoured to share Paul’s story with an Edmonton audience.

What the film sets out to do

As LHI describes it, the film follows Paul Brandt and the work of Not In My City to raise awareness and build a platform for collective action across Canada. The project page lists it as a 24-minute English-language documentary, and director Monique Barrie leads the team behind it.

This is a stop on a long run. We’ve already followed the film from Yorkton to Atlanta, and it also holds five Rosie Award nominations. Check the festival’s schedule if you’re in Edmonton, and follow the LHI Productions Instagram for details as they come.
